Description and Ownership
Geekland Enterprises Pty Ltd has been tentatively entering the semi-precious mining & procurement industry on a small to medium scale shipping small quantities of Quartz and Silicates twice a year since 2018.
Induced Polarization are the techniques that are being utilized to get more accurate data on how much is available and where to strategically position the mining shaft to get maximum yield of the Quartz crystals and to track and locate Quartz veins.
Primarily the company specializes in software engineering but it has been branching into mining raw construction materials to sell to Asia and Switzerland in the manufacture of electronic components. We extract Quartz crystals, cleanse, crush and beneficiate the raw materials to be sold to Honk Kong(Speargen) and Switzerland (Hublot Luxury Watch making).
Management
Geekland Enterprises was founded by Gigi Bopela who is the Executive Director and Sole-owner.
The business is registered for tax purposes as a solely owned private limited company, thus the owner will act as sole executive in her capacity.
Geekland hopes to expand further into Hydroponic Agricultural Farming, Sports Nutrition & Supplementation, Bee Keeping,Wine Making and last but not least Robotics and Space Exploration.
Vision & Mission
The vision for Geekland Enterprises Pty Ltd is for the business to be the first wholly owned South African Space Exploration and Robotics company.
The mission is to be an established diversified business with a core focus in Oxide Mineral Mining and Trading that aims to implement effective investment strategies in commodities to further growth in the company.
The long term profits generated from the aforementioned will allow for it to independently expand into Space Exploration & Robotics. Many of the minimum wage jobs will be replaced by programmed and automated robots to perform menial tasks like Point of Sale, Stock Management & Cash Management Systems, however there are lots of opportunities for skills development and training to counter the effects of Automation.
So it’s imperative that the vulnerable Youth who are at risk to falling victim to marginalization to get the necessary experience and training to circumvent the onset of automation in the labour environment.
This multifaceted strategy & growth plan will enable Geekland Enterprises to lend a hand in alleviating the pressing issue of high unemployment within South Africa among the youth.This won’t happen overnight but obviously the plan is to grow the company over a 10 year period starting with Oxide mining and long term investment strategies.
Renewable and Alternative Energies is also a growing sector in the Technology industry and South Africa holds a lot of potential in Solar Power seeing as we receive over 10000 hours of sunlight per annum. That is an enormous pool of clean and renewable energy to tap into and utilize towards the local economy’s energy crisis.
